Misc Company Info

This page is for any miscellaneous info I might have on the brands mentioned on this blog.  It will be updated regularly, as and when I have info to add to it.

Firstly, there are a couple of great resources for checking whether brands are cruelty free, that I will link to. I'm not here to reinvent the wheel and these ladies work super hard maintaining their lists.  There's more out there, but these are the ones I find most useful.

The Bunny Beautiful (this list is really useful, I like the symbols and it's UK based!)

Miscellaneous Info

Marks & Spencer
They recently confirmed which products in their Autograph range are NOT vegan. See my post about it HERE.

GOSH
Their current vegan product list is HERE. I will update this as and when I know about new vegan products. Updated 02.03.2015

Eyeko
Had a mini panic when I brought home their mascara all the way from london when I saw Beeswax on the ingredients list and was kicking myself for not checking the ingredients. But the reason I didn't is that I'd read before that they don't use animal ingredients. So I went to check their policy and I was right they don't - it's synthetic Beeswax... YAY!  More info here!

Illamasqua
They confirmed which products are vegan to me February 2014. Please refer to this post for more info.

Lee Stafford
They confirmed which products are NOT vegan to me recently (February 2014). Please refer to this post. UPDATED 27.02.2015

Sleek Makeup
They do not list their iDivines (eyeshadow palettes) as vegan. When I questioned this, after googling all the ingredients listed, they said it's because they're manufactured on a non-vegan production line. So it's a possible cross-contamination issue... still vegan in my book! Since I originally wrote this over a year ago, I've tried several times to get an answer as to the reason they're not on the vegan list, but have never received a response.

MUA & Makeup Revolution
These companies do not animal test but theas they also don't market the products for vegan, they won't confirm if individual products are or not. Some products contain animal ingredients and it's pretty obvious stuff like carmine or beeswax.  It's a case of checking ingredients lists with them and making a judgement call.

Makeup Geek
Updated list of their vegan items can be found HERE.
